It’s said, “three little strokes fell great oaks,” then it’s obviously true to them that believe that a little will and hope will make dreams moments, and a mustard seed of faith will make fear a foe because in His strength, we will fell all of life’s great oaks in Jesus name. As the earth is to the meek in inheritance, so is victory to them whose fortress is the Lord.
Strokes of victory transcends the visible and the earthly as is evidenced in the what was written of the patriarchs of faith, “these all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them….” The heavenly hope and timeless expectations of the patriarchs of faith came from the resignation in their hearts and a confession that, “they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” Hebrews 11:13
The patriarchs of faith knew their God, they were strong in Him and so their faith did great exploits. Daniel 11:32 For although we in our mortal bodies, exist in time, timeless expectations and heavenly hope in a God who transcends time is what gives us strokes of victory everyday. His exhale and His indwelling spirit are reminders of my daily strokes of victory – it means, we have unfinished business.
What is your daily reminder of your daily strokes of victory?
